Curriculum Products
General Description: Each of the following curriculum units includes three lesson books. Each lesson book contains four Bible lessons. Therefore, there are twelve different lessons on each topic covering twelve different Bible passages. The lesson books for grades 3-4 can be taught to children in grades 1-6. The lesson books for grades 1-2 and grades 5-6 may have two lessons that could be used with 3rd and 4th grade children, but are best used as designated. The following lesson by lesson outline of unit on Spiritual Strength and Courage gives an example how twelve lessons are distributed through three lesson books.

NOTE: Each lesson book has different lessons. First grade lessons cover the most well known Bible stories: Noah, David and Goliath, and Joash. It is possible to use two lesson books back to back for an eight lesson series.
YEAR ONE CURRICULUM UNITS
Price is the primary difference between year 1 and year 2 curriculum units. Year 1 and 2 units can be used in any sequence. Many churches have found it helpful to allow teachers five weeks to teach four lessons giving time for review and application projects.
PRAYER Children learn about prayer, how to pray and Bible people of prayer. Six style of prayer are taught: (1) Praise, (2) Thanks, (3) Intercession, (4) Protection, (5) Petition, and (6) Submission.
Cost: $8.00 per lesson book.
OUTREACH Twelve people who brought people to Jesus are studied. Children are encouraged to tell their friends about Jesus and bring them to a church-sponsored party.

WHO IS JESUS? Children study Jesus as our Savior, Healer, High Priest, King of Kings, Coming Lord, Creator, Example, Mediator, and Sustainer of the universe. Children also study gifts Bible people gave to Jesus in worship and gratitude. Good unit to use over Christmas or Easter season.
Cost: $8.00 per lesson book. (This unit could be taught over an eight week period instead of four.)
MISSIONS Old and New Testament missionary endeavors are studied by children. Each child creates a scrapbook in class focusing on a missionary his or church sponsors.

SPIRITUAL STRENGTH AND COURAGE Eleven Bible characters who displayed spiritual strength and courage are studied. Children study why God gave these people strength and courage and how they used their strength for the Lord. It is recommended that a classroom gym with weights, stationary bike, jump rope, rowing machine and other exercise equipment be set up to reinforce this unity theme. This is a great series to use during the summer months.

FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT All nine fruit are studied, three at each grade level. Jesus is presented as the example of all nine character qualities.

SALVATION Each lesson book carefully studies the work of Christ on the cross and faith as the means of receiving salvation. Children also learn about adoption, repentance, reconciliation, regeneration, justification, and sanctification which allows them to see the importance and significance of salvation.

TIME OUT WITH GOD Children are taught the importance of a daily quiet time and study Bible people whom God used because of their quiet time. It is highly recommended that a devotional book be purchased for each child to use during these four week studies.

Complete Year One Curriculum Package Twenty-four lesson books, plus leaders guides. Cost: $150 Plus the option of buying any extra lesson books for $5.00 each.

YEAR TWO CURRICULUM UNITS
Year 1 and 2 units can be used in any sequence. Year two curriculum units are more expensive due to a shortage of inventory.
WHO IS GOD? Children learn God is holy, just, all-knowing, all-powerful, spirit, loving, good, patient, and unchanging. This is theology at a child’s level.

MY WONDERFUL CHURCH The importance and function of the church is taught. Children study their church and meet its leaders. Children complete several church service projects.

FAITHFULLY USING GOD’S STUFF Children are taught to use their time, talents, and money for the Lord as acts of good stewardship. The unit includes a talent show.

OLD TESTAMENT HISTORY Children in grades 1-2 study Genesis and Exodus. Children in grades 3-4 review Genesis and Exodus study Joshua, Judges and 1 and 2 Samuel. Children in grades 5-6 review historical event up through King David and then study the Kings and Prophets. Children are given pictures depicting each major period of Bible history. The lessons for grades 1-2 and 3-4 can be combined into an eight-week unit.

WORSHIP Children study biblical examples of worship and have a worship time at the end of each lesson. Mary, David, Jehoshaphat, wise men, Hezekiah and other Bible worshippers are studied.

SERVING GOD After studying Bible examples of serving, children are taught to look every day for opportunities to serve Christ.

TEN COMMANDMENTS Three commandments are taught in each lesson book. Older children review commandments taught earlier. An optional DVD with one song for each commandment is a curriculum option.

SPIRITUAL FRIENDSHIPS This topic is of great importance to 5th and 6th graders. Children learn of biblical standards for selecting best friends. Children are placed in “friendship teams’ to practice friendship social skills.

LIFE OF CHRIST (Eight-week curriculum unit) The entire life of Christ is studied by each age-group. At the end of this curriculum unit children can identify stories that prove Jesus is all-powerful, all-knowing, fully God and fully man. Each child makes a huge poster filled with pictures that trace the life of Christ from birth to ascension.

Complete Year Two Curriculum Package Twenty-seven lesson books. Cost: $320.00 (A savings of $100.) Plus the option of buying any extra lesson books for $10.00 each.
Bible Lesson Index: Over 175 Bible stories are taught in Year One and Two lesson books. In the index, these lessons are listed in order as they occur in the Bible beginning with Genesis 1 and ending with Revelation 21 so a children’s leader can easily find a complete lesson on almost any significant story in the Bible.
